Laser Blade was founded on the Gold Coast in 2024 as an expansion of the Blade Pile Group, a family owned organisation with a legacy in the manufacturing industry.
We have a team of senior laser cutting specialists and experienced managers in the manufacturing industry. Years of lean and reliable steel processing and fabrication underpins our quality service.
Today, we deliver laser cutting services for projects across Australia. We know that to forge results we’re proud of, we need to be proud of our people and equipment too. This ethos can be felt each day in our Yatala factory, down to the finest details. We collaborate with suppliers, distributors and trusted delivery partners to deliver exceptional products to Australia-based businesses. Stephen Qin has been managing laser cutting businesses across Australia for over 15 years. Renowned for his exceptional service, efficiency and hands-on approach, he ensures orders are completed smoothly and on-time. Stephen has specialised knowledge of Bystronic laser cutting machines, helping to reduce delays and increase productivity. He leads the operations of the business and is key in the ongoing growth and development of Laser Blade.

For over five years, Zak has excelled in advanced steel manufacturing. He has developed systems which include laser cutting, automated processing and robotic fabrication for the Blade Pile Group. At Laser Blade, this experience in lean manufacturing is paired with a background and degree in finance. Zak’s expertise has provided Laser Blade with a strong foundation and continues to deliver value to clients.

Michael O’Sullivan is a mechanical engineer with extensive experience in technical management for manufacturing. He has been a core part of the Blade Pile Group for over five years, specialising in the development of manufacturing processes and automated systems. His technical mind and advanced knowledge of modern manufacturing empowers our optimised workflow.

Rod Sousa’s approach to finance was honed over 10 years in accounting and financial management for manufacturing companies in Australia. As a qualified accountant, Rod stays up to date with best-practice finance. He optimises Laser Blade finances to achieve the best prices for our clients and uphold our commitment to efficiency.
